I am Filip and I have been married for eight years. My wife and I have two wonderful children. When we are not busy with therapy, we like to walk through the woods near our house. I believe that any good conversation should be accompanied by a fresh coffee and I never disregard a book recommendation from a trusted friend.

Throughout my life I have been passionate about relationships, learning from and with those around me. I spent eight years in the United States studying Theology and Counselling (Psychotherapy), and for the past nine years, among other things, I have been a psychotherapist dedicated to creating a space where people can feel safe, explore the dark past and burdensome addictions with a hope to find freedom, paving new paths, full of hope, healing and fulfilment.  

Emotions and intense feelings have been with me for as long as I can remember. When I was little I loved spending time with my father and I was constantly pampered by my mother. I named my little girl Nina after my mother, who I lost her battle with cancer in 2002. Dad left for his final destination three months before our wedding in 2016. Every day I look at my children and am grateful for the influence of my parents in my life, and I grieve their absence from my life and that of my grandchildren. Tensions like these make me really appreciate the therapeutic setting and strengthen my commitment to creating such settings for people like you.  

In 2015 I completed a training in Family Systemic Therapy at the Dianoia Training Center, Timisoara. I am enrolled in the College of Psychologists in Romania. I am also trained in premarital counselling using Prepare & Enrich materials (www.prepare-enrich.com). Over the years I have also coordinated support groups and led many seminars and workshops.

I strongly believe that an authentic and appropriate relationship in the therapeutic setting can bring about transformation. I would love to accompany you on your way to better.
